Why do we give?

Where we spend our time and our money shows where the true priorities of our hearts are. Jesus, in the gospel, fully gave everything, even his life, so we could experience true riches and be freed from finding our identity and security in money and wealth. Therefore, our giving is not a grudging duty, but our proper heart response to God’s lavish generosity and grace. We use our resources to further God’s kingdom and to be a part of serving our city of Calgary and the wider world.
