Compelled by Love

July 16, 2017 Speaker: Grant Galpin Series: Individual Sermon

Topic: Individual Sermon Passage: 2 Corinthians 2:14–2:15

The Apostle Paul, in the context of defending his Apostolic ministry to the Corinthian church, passionately expresses a life-altering conclusion, or an experiential belief, that altered his life so substantially – that he expresses it as being “compelled” or as “having no choice” but to live in a radically different and selfless way. What is the nature and outcome of such a conclusion – that it could have such an effect on Paul, and by extension on us if we also embrace it? This conclusion, should we surrender to it, leads us into a life of shared mission with Jesus, helping those in our networks currently in darkness to reconciliation with God.
